In Saudi Arabia, a man was arrested for shooting a male doctor who had helped his wife to deliver their child. According to Gulf news, the doctor, Muhannad Al Zabn, delivered the baby in April at the King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh.
The father offered his thanks to the doctor and asked to meet him at the hospital so as to show him his appreciation but as the pair got to the hospital garden, the father brought out his gun and shot the doctor. Fortunately, the doctor did not die but was rushed to the hospital's intensive care unit (ICU) were he was stabilised.
On the other hand, the father ran after shooting the doctor but was later caught by Saudi police. He argued that he had insisted from the onset that a female doctor should oversee the delivery and not for a male doctor to do so.
This event happened on 26th May, 2016.
