Movies to watch out for in 2016

Are you thinking of visiting the cinemas anytime soon or you wish to get any recent movie?
Here are some of the movies to watch out for. The list is based on Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi genres.

1. Assassin's Creed
The popular game series on both video and mobile has now been adapted into a movie.  It would definitely have the popular roof jumps and bloody aerial kills that the game has been known for. 
The plot is about Callum Lynch who discovers that he is a descendant of the mysterious secret society 'the assassins' and now he must use his deadly skills to battle the powerful Templar organisation.

2. Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice
After Superman defeats fellow Kryptonians General Zod and his men, he is seen by many as a 'god' that needs to be checked. Superman's archenemy, Lex Luthor, masterminds a plan to get him to kill Batman. On the other hand, Batman wants to end Superman and has lots of Kryptonite for him. Who will survive? You also get to see the beautiful Wonder Woman in action. Her battle cry is something to remember.
Starring: Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman) and Amy Adams (Wonder Woman)

3. Gods Of Egypt
Man's survival hangs in the balance when Seth the god of darkness takes over Egypt's throne and plunges the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. A mortal hero Bek teams up god Horus to defeate Seth.
Starring: Gerard Butler as Seth


4. The Legend of Tarzan
Tarzan returns to Congo, Africa, to serve as a trade emissary unaware that he is actually a pawn in a plot.
Starring: Alexander Skarsgard as Tarzan







5. Captain America: Civil War
A new status quo has emerged. The world wants the actions of the avengers to be put in check while Captain America feels it is the duty of the Avengers to defend humanity even without government interference. This leads to a rift between them since Iron Man (Tony Stark) is in support of the world's stand.
Starring: Chris Evans (Capt. America), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) 

6. The Jungle Book
Raised by a family of wolves since he was born, Mowgli must leave the only home he has ever known when the fearsome tiger Shere Khan unleashes his mighty roar. As he makes the journey he learns valuable life lessons and meets more adventure.





7. X-Men Apocalypse
Apocalypse, the first mutant, emerges and his plan is to make the world extinct, the X-Men must unite to defeat him.
Starring: Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy








8. Warcraft
Looking to escape from his dying world, the Orc shaman Gul'dan uses dark magic to open a portal to the human realm of Azeroth. Supported by the fierce fighter Blackhand, Gul'dan organises the Orc clans into a conquering army called the Horde. Uniting to protect Azeroth from these hulking invaders are King Llane and the powerful wizard Medivh. As the two races collide, leaders from either side start to question if war is the only answer.

9. Ghostbusters
Remember the cartoon where four guys went about hunting ghosts? This time it is four women that will do the job. Get ready to laugh too.






10. Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles
Shredder joins forces with scientist Baxter Stockman and henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady to take over the world. The Turtles must confront an even greater nemesis - Krang.




11. Ben-Hur
A prince is falsely accused of treason by his adopted brother who is a Roman officer. He is forced into slavery. After many years of slavery he seeks vengeance which culminates in a deadly chariot race.
Starring: Jack Huston as Ben-Hur

Here you have some of the movies we have longed to see. While some lived of to expectation, others were quite disappointing...and I mean Very disappointing. It just failed to match the hype. I would not want to spoil the fun so I leave it to you to figure them out.
